"This project consists of a sewing case with a gathered pocket, a needlebook, and a thread palette.

The models were stitched on 32-count Examplar linen, from Lakeside Linen and Designs, Inc. using DMC embroidery thread, Sampler Threads from The Gentle Art, and overdyed threads from Weeks Dye Works and Olde Willow Stitchery.  Cotton Perle is also needed for assembly.

Stitches used: cross stitch, half cross stitch, colonial knot, smyrna cross, closed herringbone, narrow closed herringbone, satin, tent, tent stitch variation, cross stitch over one linen thread, backstitch, reverse chain, and outline.  If desired, you can substitute cross-stitch for the majority of these stitches.

Charts, stitching directions, stitch diagrams, and detailed assembly instructions are included."
